Getting started with BetaBoxTS

Last updated: July 19, 2026

What happens after you sign

Within one business day of signing, your onboarding lead will email you a welcome note, a kickoff meeting invite, and a short intake form. Nothing changes on your network and nothing goes live until we have walked you through the plan on that kickoff call. Onboarding typically takes two weeks from kickoff to steady state.

Your first two weeks

  • Days 1–2 — Kickoff. We confirm scope, priorities, points of contact, and the schedule. You meet the people who will actually be doing the work.
  • Days 3–5 — Discovery. We inventory your devices, accounts, licenses, and vendors, and quietly note anything risky. No changes yet, just a clear picture.
  • Week 2 — Baseline. We deploy our management and security tooling, turn on backups, start the password manager rollout, and close the most urgent gaps first.
  • End of week 2 — Review. A call plus a written summary: what we found, what we fixed, and what we recommend next.

Who you will work with

  • Onboarding lead — your single point of contact until handoff. They run the schedule and answer the “who do I ask” questions.
  • Support team — handles day-to-day tickets through the HelpDesk portal once onboarding is complete.
  • Account manager — owns the relationship long term: quarterly reviews, budgeting, and planning.

What we need from you

  • Admin access to your email platform (Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace).
  • Access to your domain registrar and DNS.
  • A list of employees, their roles, and who is authorized to approve changes and spending.
  • Contacts for your current vendors: internet provider, phone system, line-of-business software.
  • Any existing license keys, warranties, or documentation you have, even if it is a shoebox of PDFs.
  • One decision-maker we can reach for approvals so work does not stall.

A note on credentials

We will never ask you to email us a password. During onboarding we set up the password manager first, and all credential handoffs happen through it. If anyone asks you to send a password over email or text, treat it as a phishing attempt and call us.

How to reach us from day one

From your first day as a client, support requests go through the HelpDesk portal. If something is down and people cannot work, call (931) 355-7256. See How to get support for severity levels and what to expect.

What good looks like at day 30

Every device managed and patched, backups running and verified, the password manager in daily use, multi-factor authentication enforced, and your team knowing exactly where to send a problem. If any of that is not true a month in, say so — that is what the review calls are for.
